Pre-season Cross Country Camp

What: Start getting back in shape for fall cross country season with this 4-day camp

Dates:

Session #1: 8/5/24- 8/8/24

Session #2: 8/12/24- 8/15/24

Days and hours: Camp will run from Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to Noon each day. Camp will be held rain or shine, but in the event there are severe thunderstorms causing a day to be cancelled, Friday will be used as a make up day.

Ages: Open to ages 11 and up.

Location: TBD based on final camp schedule and could be different locations for each day. Possible locations include Underhill track, Meisel Track, Floods Hill, South Mountain Reservation.

Sample Schedule: Each day will start with a 20 minute warm up followed by specific training topics which will be practiced. Topics may include V02 Max testing, speed work, hill training, and more. Camp will end with at 15-20 minute warm-down run.

Cost: Camp cost is $200 for full session. Drop in for specific days is $65

About Coach Scott: 25+ years of running experience, McMillan Certified Running Coach, Associate Level USA Triathlon Coach, Level 1 USA Triathlon Official, Assistant Track and Field Coach at Columbia High School. Camp is not affiliated with Columbia High School Sports

Campers should bring at least 2 bottles of water or their preferred hydration drink. They should also bring any nutrition/snacks if they want.

Lunch will not be provided.
